The second work for the new year. This one will most likely be going to an early spring show at the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport and measures 9" square. This work and the first one done this year are both from reference material gathered in Florida last January on my week long trip along the west coast of the state with three other artist friends. You can never have too many pelicans!

The first work off the drawing board for 2012, though begun in the last days of December. Image size on this one is a tad under 7" x 17".
