Here is where things stand at this point. No work today, but wanted to post the entire composition so far. A balancing act going on between large splotches of black and large splotches of white! And then a lot of plain old splotches of dark and light in between.

I don't know Terry, but I think it's working so far! The "splotches" are creating a lot of movement throughout the composition. The eye doesn't stop at one area. I like it!
You are going to have a great piece when finished splotching. Love the idea and how you have approached it.
