Pencil Shavings

A new week, a new month, a new year . . . and . . . a new work up on the drawing board. It's been quite some time since I last posted an 'in progress' image of a new work, so decided that since this new work is a larger, more involved piece than a lot of what I have had on the board lately, I would show the evolution of this one as I work on it. This one will finish out at 8" x 18" and will be earmarked for this coming spring's Modern Marine Masters exhibition/sale at the Mystic Seaport Gallery at Mystic, Connecticut.
