I had to take a last look, today, to make sure I felt this piece was done when I left the drawing board last night and with a few final flourishes and 2B strokes here and there this afternoon, I will sign my name momentarily and feel pleased with the results of the last two week's work. The piece is 7"x 24".

Terry, I always enjoy seeing your work and benefit particularly from reading about the decisions you make in terms of composition. I wonder if you'd be good enough to discuss this topic a little where this drawing is concerned.

I can see that the deer are in the "sweet spot" as I think you call it, but I'm interested in the placement of the large rock in the centre of the drawing which, with my rudimentary understanding, breaks one of "the rules"!

Thanks all, for the positive comments on this one. It was a fun piece to work on. I will address your comment, Peter, in another day or two. I have some other pressing business today and will try and post something on Wednesday or Thursday.

There is such tremendous depth to your drawing Terry. I feel as though I could walk right into this scene and wander into the woods in the background.

An excellent job, Terry. I like the composition and texture of the rocks obtained. Congratulations
